Hi, I'm Gery,33 years old mom. I'm in Canada only 3 months like a permanent resident. My son is 20 months old. Now my husband is going to leave me. I have only 500 $ cash and I don't know what to do. How to start working and how to take care for my child? Please, give an advice.

It's true. It's very difficult to live and work in Quebec if you don't speak French. Not impossible, but very difficult.
There are a lot more social supports in Quebec though, and the Ottawa area is quite expensive. Daycare is $7.30 a day in Quebec, free if you're on social assistance, but upwards of $30 a day in Ottawa. There are lots of free French lessons if you wanted to stay and learn French.
A good first step would be getting in touch with a service organization that supports new immigrants - either in Quebec or Ontario. They should be able to help you navigate the resources available to you. There is help available with job search and retraining, and you will need legal advice separating from your partner and setting up child support.
