Hello everyone

I am looking for some craft ideas for a 2 year old. She doesn't have a long attention span as she is super busy, but she does like crafts. I know I can keep her attention if it's something she enjoys and different. I have hit a brick wall for ideas and need some help...PLEASE!! I know there are some crafty mamas out there, so I beg you to dig into your crafty side and help me out. I appreciate all the suggestions and will try anything at least once. Can't wait to hear from all of you!!

finger painting with chocolate pudding is fun. just don't set the paper outside to dry, the ants will come. Happened to us one time at a playgroup at my house.

Stickers are fun too on a blank piece of paper.

It's all about paper plates! My son & I made turkeys, turtles, and other animals from paper plates. The plate acts as the body. Cut out construction paper body parts like feet and feathers. Glue onto back of plate. Draw/ color the plate. For the turtle, I drew the shell pattern and had my son color it in. Afterwards, he would play with his new "toy". Quick, easy, and fun :) Good luck!

One of my favorite projects I use to do with my oldest boy when he was 2 was to finger paint. I know it sounds messy but the best time to do it is on the day you plan to sweep and mop either the kitchen or bathroom floor. Sweep the floor and cover an area with newspaper or large sheets of white paper. Let your little one run around in just a diaper for awhile and give her some paper to paint on. Let her go to town painting the paper and herself (as long as she don't eat it) its a good way to incorperate teaching her colors/shapes/alphabet ect... This is how my boy learned to write his name at the age of 2. Once she is done you can place her in the tub and clean up the mess. I have many other suggestions but I would probably fill up an entire page! When it comes to crafts with young children the thing to remember is as long as you have paper, sissors, glue, crayons or markers for basic crafts the child can use their imagination to make anything!! ( you can also go to any local craft store and find other craft items as well sometimes even kits to make things such as picture frames and such which can make great gifts for grandparents!!!!) but I will add some links for some great toddler crafts and please don't hesitate to email me on my page if you want to talk more crafts or other activities for your little one I use to work for a daycare (15 years in fact) and had to make daily cirriculums with educational activities and arts n crafts for toddler age children and older and it happens to be one of my favorite things to do, is come up with ideas.

Anyways good luck and here are those web sites. Hope to hear from you again

Hope you find some good ideas with some of those. If not go ahead and drop me a line and I will help out where I can
