is it OK to ask my daughter move out she works full time. My husband likes a quiet life and so do I we not the kinda ppl who enjoy ppl coming into our home and u know 18 year olds there always someone wanting to call. The problem is she has a boyfriend now and he's in and out a lot. I don't feel like I have the privacy I want. I love my daughter very much just need a little advise as this is making me loose sleep I worry too muck and get stressed easy

Sit down w/ her and work out a 'contract' together of what you all feel is fair (how much rent she will pay, times that guests can and can not come over, etc...) for her to continue living in your home. She is 18 now, so it's reasonable to afford her adult privileges, BUT... if she is living in your home still then she (and any guests she has) must respect your boundaries and privacy... or she can find alternate living arrangements.

That way you aren't asking her to move out... but you are regaining your sanity in your home and she is choosing to work with you or leave.
