Since birth our daughter has had a bowel movement. We thought that it could be because she was LT&T but her ped. said she just has "Gastrointestinal Issues". She was put on special formula but she would still have problems from time to time. Once she turn 1 we switched her to milk and the issues started to increase. She developed a fisher on her bottom and her bowels were becoming much more harder. Her ped. switched her to 1% milk and only once a day (her bedtime sippy). She has also put her on milk of mag and is up to 1 tablespoon a day. Our daughter eats with no problem and we keep her from the foods that cause hard stools; peanut butter and bananas. She loves her fruits and veggies and just found an interest in rasians. She drinks only water OR juice. She has a bowel movement everyday. She will scream, cry, hold her breathe, and turn into a statue for almost 30 minutes. Once she passes the bowel, it is literally hard like a rock and lately now has shown more blood in her diaper (which I know is because of the fisher being irritated). When she goes through this, I just hold her help her and cry along with her.. I can't see my daughter in pain any longer!! I've done research on Pedatric Gastro. and I'm going to run them by her Ped. BUT any suggestions or feedback would be great!
Thanks!

@MeMe - On top of the milk of mag she gets 2 scoops of fiber in her drinks twice a day. All we eat is wheat/whole grain breads. Juice was suggested by the Dr. esp Apple because that is suppose to help make them go. I'm definitely going to ask for the referral!! I appreciate your help :)
