Dealing hiperactivity in kids without medication

Lupe - posted on 12/30/2013 ( 1 mom has responded )

I would like to know how to help my kid who is hyperactive. I want to help him to stay quiet and pay attention in the class but I do not want to use any kind of medication. Is it possible?

How about a type of reward system? rewards can be whatever you choose and he could get it twice a month, four times a month, what ever you decide. So if he has been good at school he earns a point (or a star or something) and has to get a point for each day he goes to school When we work we get rewarded with paychecks, promotions and bonuses as an incentive to make us do a better job.
