My son turned 2 years on 20th Sept. Still can't sit and control his head. He was born premature at 7months. We noticed he can't develop his motor skills when he was 7month old and this was compared to his twin brother.
We consulted neurologist at the age of 12months and recommended MRI for brain since primary observations indicated mild CP with seizures and delayed milestone. The MRI diagnosed loss of volume of left medial temporal lobe and concluded to have left mesial temporal lobe atrophy.
Specialist recommended Somazina/Citicolina, lamotrigine tabs and carbamazepine and started the dose immediately. Has taken Somazona for about 7months and specialist recommended to stop for observations but continues with the other two.
His body is growing normal, he understands everything, started rolling a month ago but cant control his head and sit. His head size is normal but cant control when pulled in sitting position.

so what info do you need from us? He is markedly delayed; you know that. Do you trust your doctors?
