You can puree or just mash pumpkin, sweet potato, regular potato carrot. All sort of vegetable. If time is a problem you can make 1 day a week or something make up some meals and freeze for the rest of the weeks as I have done my kids in the past. Anything that dissolves or is soft enough and easy to swallow should be fine. Though mine seemed to eat fine even before they had teeth. They just mush what ever it was was their gums. My first didn't cut his first tooth under he was a about one. My daughter hers at around 8 months. My son started teething pretty early but they just seemed to take forever to come through no matter what we did.
