I am a 30 year old stay at home mom. We no longer have our own place and we are squatting at a friend's house. This friend is a very bad alcoholic and chain smoker that falls down the stairs and the house is falling apart. This friend has become unemployed due to addiction and we need out of here badly. I'm so scared of ending up on the street or in a shelter. I cannot afford childcare and can't go to work. My daughter is just over two years old. I have a great laptop and a ton of experience in administration, writing and editing, but no schooling after high school. I can't afford any cost to start a stay at home online job, not to mention that I've tried this road dozens of times only to be scammed and ripped off. I know there is legit online stay at home jobs but I don't know how to locate them. Please help.

Start with a transitional shelter, and apply for assistance. You NEED to be working, to support yourself and your child, and right now, you have that child in an environment that is dangerous to her.
