Yes. We gave ibuprofen. A lot of pharmacists discouraged us because acetaminophen (paracetamol) is safer, however we found that it didn't work nearly as well.

When my son was teething i gave him homeopathic suppositorys(hope i spelled it right) they helped alot.If he had fever from teething a gave him fever sinking pain medicine also because his temp shouldnt rise to high because he gets fever cramps. I also used teething gel and cold bite rings.

At the daycare I work at most parents give teething tabs...
They work great.
