Hello,

My son was born Sept. 16 and he's been sleeping 6-8 hours since he was 4 weeks old. About a month ago he began getting really sleepy around 7-8ish at night, so we've been putting him to bed then. At first, he would sleep until 4 AM, but for the past few weeks he's been waking up randomly. He cries (but doesn't actually wake up) at midnight, then 2 or 3 AM to eat. He usually gets up around 6 or 7 AM. Any suggestions on getting him to stay sleeping or longer? Or any Moms having the same issues?

He may just be going through a growth spurt or something and is needing more feeds. My little man wouldn't go more than 2-3hrs at night during his growth spurts. At 2mths (with no spurt going on)his night sleeps looked like 8pm - 11pm, midnight-4am, 5am - 8am.
My son is one tomorrow and he's in bed around 7pm, awake & needs settling around 10pm, then again aronud 3-4am, and starts his day at 6am.

It sounds like you have a really good sleeper honestly. My kids are 4 and 3 and while they sleep through the night, they rarely sleep past 5:30. It sounds like your child is fine but if you are needing more sleep, I would suggest getting yourself in bed a little earlier at night! =)
