My son is 16 months old and I'm really excited to start getting into holiday fun with him....Easter is coming up and I'm debating about coloring eggs and wondering what to put into his easter basket besides jelly beans and chocolates...if any of you creative mothers have any ideas for Easter fun with a 16 month old please share!!!

Plastic Easter Eggs to find in an assisted 'Easter Egg Hunt"? Stuffed animals - I mean one- are good. We gave my son a stuffed duckie and he promptly named it Teddy Duck - it has been a favorite for 2 generations, now. If you have any Christian values, you could talk about that part of Easter using a good child's book. Puppets or finger puppets are great for general play and for Easter teaching, too. How about a new coloring book? If you load him up with candy, remember you probably won't be able to stand him afterwards! Craft shops have wooden eggs if you want him to paint or color his own! Have fun!
