I don't hide 'em. I present them as excellent food choices. I don't serve what I don't like, and I don't force. But, my grown kids have excellently balanced diets, including excellent fruit/veggie choices.

I find that, if I'm willing to eat it, and enjoy it, my kids were more than ready to try it and like it.

We just put them pretty much anything we make...
We use green beans and corn to goulash.
We use peas, corn, carrots, green beans in tater tot casserole.
We use peas in tuna casserole...

Also I should add that my kids will pick vegies and fruits over candy and chips every time..
I start them with vegies and fruits as snacks when they start table foods.. My almost 13 month old Love Carrots and Sweet potatoes... My 6 and almost 5 year old love Green Beans and Corn... The only major veggie that none of the really care for is Peas but they still eat them...
