Desperate in need of help, my 9 year old daughter is emotionally out of control. Every day she has something to cry about. She says she doesn’t want anymore sibling because if we have another baby we are going to forget about her. She gets upset if my husband and I are talking or if we get near each other!! I tried to talk to her to calm her down and she does but before I know it she is crying again she said that her feelings are never going to stop it got to a point that she tells me that maybe our family would be better without her because she can’t control her emotions. It hurt me to see her crying like this, it seen like she get very frustrated with her feeling. I don’t know what else to do

Aw... poor girl. 9+ is a wicked time for girls. Let her know that a lot of it is probably hormones, she's perfectly normal, and no matter WHAT your family would not be better off without her.

It might be worth a call to her doctor to see if perhaps you could see a counselor together to help her learn appropriate ways to handle her feelings.

The pre-teen years are just as wicked as the toddler years. It's the same concept of learning to handle the powerful emotions... only they're a lot bigger this time around.
