Ok here is the story. I am not sure what to do... a few years ago I had a party for my daughter 21 st bday. My ex and I paid for the dinner and invited many people. But during the party my ex husband girlfriend made rude comments during the party..like..I dont like the water, food and then when the bill came and my ex and I paid..She said HOW much was the bill so everyone could hear her. Then last week I gave a engagment party for my daughter. When they arrived I said hello to both of them and she rolled her eyes at me. I later went over to tell her thank you for coming and she said she doesnt like the food..so I told her to order anything she wanted just to make her happy. With the wedding coming up and many other partys I do not want this to happen again. Should I speak with my ex husband or her or just leave it alone?

Why not just ignore her... as long as she's not ruining the events for your daughter?

It will be your daughter's day. If she would like to speak with her father regarding the crass behaviour of the girlfriend, then that is up to her.

You mentioning it will most likely be taken as you're being a bitch, and just trying to figure out ways to keep her away.

Now, if your daughter determines that she's going to ignore the behaviour, you'll need to do so as well...because ultimately, it's your daughter's day, and she should have it her way.
