fever and vomitting in a 23 month old

My grandson just left my house, he has been here all day but when he left he had a fever and before that he was throwing up. It seems like he is always sick. His daddy feels he only gets sick at my house although I know that not to be true I just would like to know if any mothers out there have any idea what this could be. He is getting his 2nd molars but throwing up also I don't get. Please help this granny
