I went for a gende determination at 14 weeks, they told me a baby boy... Which I could clearly see it was a boy!! :) however, when I went to my regular doctor(different place than the ultrasound, that was at a 3d/4d place) she told me that it was no accurate and that it was too early to even tell? I guess I just want other opinions or experiences..

Like the others have said 14weeks is very early. I guess you just have to wait abit longer. And even then its not 100%. My aunt was told she was having a girl...she had a boy.

14 weeks is pretty early to determine gender. Usually this is done around 20 weeks. With any ultrasound no matter when done there can be error, but at 14 weeks there is a greater chance for error.

It is awfully soon to determine sex, but I suppose it can be done. Usually it is done between 20-25 weeks for accuracy. It could easily have been the umbilical cord, or perhaps the second ultrasound technician saw something different. I know how frustrating that is, but be patient. The next ultrasound they may be more accurate.
