My 2yr old never eats her fruits or veggies, I'm always trying... everything from ants-on-the-log type things to sugar coated fruits. I have started to give her vitamins because im concerned she isnt getting her daily intake.... any tips or tricks?

try pureeing fruits and veg into her favorite dishes she wont even notice, try smoothies my little girl hates mushrooms but instead of faffing about picking them out of the meal or watching her faff around picking them out at the dinner table i chop them very small so she doesn't even notice them now, another trick is try coaxing her to eat whatever you're eating even if it means she eats off your plate for a while till she gets used to the tastes of them she'll be happy coz she's eating mummy's food and you'll be happy coz she's eating veg then when she is happily drinking fruit smoothies and eating veggies she may want a plate of her own soon after coz she wants to be a big girl and instead of relying on mummy when they turn 3 they try to be more independant (apparently) if you're really really very worried and you've exhausted all your options see your doctor or health visitor (uk) hope this helps :)

i have the cook book called deceitfully delicious by jessica seinfeld and it's wonderful! every recipie has pureed fruit or veggies in it and it's things that are pretty normal (even has an oatmeal recipie) i look after children in my home and they love the stuff i make from it...especially the broccoli chicken nuggets.

How about baking the fruits or veggies into bread? Like banana bread or zucchini bread? Or you could add fruit to yogurt and veggies to casseroles. Fruit and veggie smoothies are great as well!

How about trying smoothies with fresh fruit in them. Would she drink V8 juice or tomato juice. They're good sources of veggies.
