Getting my own hobbies

I am a wife and mother. I have 2 sons ages 12 & 8. My husband is a big sportsman/outdoorsman and my sons do the typical boy things. I have had really no personal time since I became a young mother 12 years ago and have really never found hobbies that interest me. I am in a rut now where I am not satisfied with just being a wife and mother and I want some ME TIME. I am not very athletic, and I don't know what I am really good at. Where is a good place to start finding interesting things to do on my own?

Is there anything you are interested in?If you are creative and enjoy making things you could try doing something that interests you.For an example i like trying to make new things, bath bombs and soap :) its fun and you can find alot of useful videos on how to make special soaps on youtube. Or if you like cooking/baking then try making your own pralines.Trying to make new special little treats like the bathbombs, soap, pralines or body scrubs and hair masks are my hobbies. So if you like trying it out and its fun for you then go ahead and try it out. If you need any special recipes you can send me a private message and i could send you some:)

Look on Pinterest. There are all sorts of good ideas on there.
Like you, when my son was about 8 years old, and I finally had some time to myself, I didn't remember who I really was. I used to love drawing when I was younger, but often found myself without inspiration or motivation--a creative block.
I joined Pinterest and discovered that I have a lot of fun growing a small veggie garden--my sunny area is really small, so I've had a lot of fun experimenting with trellising and raised gardens. I also bought a vintage Miata and have begun restoring it......that can be frustrating at times because I chose a year that is difficult to find OEM and aftermarket parts for, but it is allowing me to tap into my creative side, and the car was not terribly pricey since I went with old, but not classic, so I don't have to worry too much about screwing up.
