Hairy arms - 7 yo daughter

Hi everyone,

I have very hairy little girls. They are hairy all over but have especially hairy ams - forearms and upper arms. The oldest one at only 7 is wanting to remove the hair. Its not overly dark but it is very thick and long.

I dont know what to do. Im worried if I help her to do something that it will make the problem worse - stubble on arms? Wouldnt that look silly growing back in?

Shes such a shy sensitive wee thing. I just make to make life a bit easier for her if i can.

Dont suppose anyone had this themselves as a youngster and it improved with age ?

Any help would be appreciated

I would try to let her know that there is nothing wrong with her arms.

If you DID decide to remove it wax the hair, don't shave it. Shaving just makes the hair grow back in thicker. I just wanted to mention that in case you did decide to remove the hair now or in the future.

Just try to explain to her that we're all different and there is nothing wrong with the hair on her arms and there are lots of special things about her.

make her feel good about other things that she has... when they are teens let them do as they please with it, but they are little girls... don't allow them to be self conscious about that... my 8yo has hair on her upper back, between her shoulder blades... but she has the most GORGEOUS hazel eyes and the most beautiful curly hair... she has a VERY athletic build... THESE are things we focus on
