my children are 12 months and 1 week apart both with C-section in my 40s.

I had staples for both. The 2nd C-section incision looked much better than the 1st one.

Recovery for both was about the same. My girl and my boy just love each other so much....

yup my boys are 13 mos apart!! i had really good healing time with both.. second was a lil better than 1st.. i knew what to expect the second time bc i had just done it!! so that was good.. and i also remembered to get up as soon as i could to help healing.. and i had just had a newborn so that was easier the second time around also.. and now the boys are 2 1'2 and 1 1/2.. and theyre great brothers

I've had 6 babies and 4 C-sections. My second C was 14 months apart and I can tell you it was so much easier than the first. I was up and moving around the 2nd day unlike the 1st C I felt I had been run over by a semi truck. Don't worry they use the same incision and it heals just fine. What I have found from having 4 Csections is that it is much better to have them use stitches to close the incision. The recovery is quicker and the stitches are internal and don't get removed they dissolve. It was way better than staples. Staples are easier for the Doctor so if you do want stitches you will need to discuss it with her. Hope this helps.

i do know a person who had csections close together and you seem to heal normally it just might take a few more weeks because your body goes through alot in that time period
