Hi, just wanted to know if you have ever tried weight watchers?? I have been told try it by my docter and wanted to know if it actually works?? I have heard differance of opinions. But im still not sure. Im trying to loose the baby weight but not having any luck so thought i would try strict dieting. If so please share your views and also if you know how long the meetings take??

Yes it works, my gma was over 350lb and in a yr of weight watcher she is now down to 180-190lb, but she stuck with it and didn't cheat, my aunt is also on it and she has lost about over 100lb in a yr time. just gotta stick with it!!

I did core on Weight Watchers after my first child 4 years ago when I was having trouble losing the weightI had gained. I lost over 45 lbs in total in a matter of 6 to 7 months and kept it off because I continued following what they teach I just stopped going to meetings. I highly recommend it did meetings during my lunch breaks at work they were only 30 minutes. I suggest doing the meetings because there is something about going and getting weighed in front of others that is a real motivator! I will probably be rejoining since I just had the birth of m second child 3 months ago and haven't lost much yet since she was born. Good luck!

Yes Weight Watchers DEFINITELY works!! The meetings are about 30-45 minutes long. I have lost 35 pounds since January. You know, as well as me and everyone else does, that dieting ESPECIALLY strict dieting doesn't work! On WW you aren't deprived and you learn portion control and sensible eating. What I will tell you is that you NEED to find a good, supportive meeting leader and be comfortable when you walk into that meeting room, if not you may not keep up with it. I've never tried the online version because I enjoy sitting in a room with other people who are all there for the same reason. I feel it helps me stay focused. But if you're looking to JUST lose the baby weight it may not be for you. Weight Watchers is a life long journey and you need to be ready for it! Good Luck...whatever you decide!!!

I did the Weight Watchers both going to meetings and online. You do actually lose weight. I lost about 30 pounds while I was on it. The only draw back to it is that you do have to count your points if you do the flex plan. I do not know to much about the other plan they offer. The meetings I do believe take about an hour. I hope this helps. I'm planning on going back on the plan to finish losing the rest of the weight I need to lose. Good Luck in your weight lose journey.
