But Im sure things dont go easy or as planned. Just scard that its not so up in the air that it doesnt scare our 4 year old....Guess Im scard of the unknown and wish we had a set plan and could follow it. eek Just wondering how things went for others. It most probably will be completely different to your first.

My first was a 10.5 hour labour that ended with a vacuum extraction and 37 stitches.

My 2nd I was induced and from the first contraction till he was born was 50 mins and not even a graze.

My 3rd I laboured at home for about 2 hours and then went to the hospital. I was already 4cm and it only took another 2 hours before she was born. I had 5 stitches with her.

I had all without paun relief because #1 it had worn off, #2 there wasn't any time and #3 they wouldn't because of how quick #2 was.

I would suggest having a few plans in place but don't be disappointed if it doesn't turn out the exact way you want. You have been there before so just listen to your body.
