hello,

the other day i went to the doctors because of slight oain in my lower stomach, he ran some tests and it turns out im pregnant, cause of the pain he also sent me for an ultrasound, in which there is a sac but no edence of a yolk sac, foetal pole, os heart activity but they think its due to being to early bout 4 to 5 weeks, my doctor also did another blood test to check my HCG levels to make sure every thing is ok '' normal pregnancy" which there ment to double with in 48 hours but mine have only increased by 60% so there is a chance of miscarage, im concerned because my doctor is not giving me any straight answers and i have to wait for another 2 weeks to find out wether to start getting excited or not, i just want to know if any1 else has had slow rising HCG levels and had a normal pregnancy, the more i read the more i worry cause typically its not looking good, my levels on wed where in the low 4000, and on friday in the high 6000 so i really dont know whats going on

Levels are definetly important. Not sure what exactly the numbers should be. But I have had a friend who didn't have a yolk sac either. Basically a sac but no baby in it, if that makes sense. It's sort of a fluke thing. I would have your level rechecked next week and go from there. Good luck!
