I've had a headache four the past five days and high blood pressure. The doctor says I'm fine as long as the baby is moving and aiden is moving great. So I haven't gone to the doctor. But I got sent home from work cuz I was seeing double. I'm 36 weeks and 2 days. Is this normal? Should I be worried and how exactly does headaches and high blood pressure effect the baby?

High blood pressure during pregnancy can kill both you and the baby if it is not treated properly.
If you got sent home for seeing double I would say go see your doctor now. If he makes light of it, see someone else. Keep seeing someone else until they take you seriously. They need to check your blood pressure, check your urine for protein, blood, etc. They should also do a stress test on the baby.
High blood pressure can lead to pre-eclampsia which can be fatal.
I had high blood pressure with both my children and had to be induced with my first girl because my blood pressure spiked and she failed a stress test. I was in the hospital for two weeks and the blood pressure went down so they sent me home on bedrest. I wound up having to be induced again later (since the first one failed and the blood pressure had gone down) and still wound up spending almost two weeks in the hospital after having her because I had problems with high blood pressure and bleeding after giving birth.
With my second I had high blood pressure and protein in the urine - they were going to induce me but I lucked out and went into labour spontaneously.
The only way to cure pre-eclampsia is to have your baby.
I do not want to freak you out but your doctor should be taking this seriously as it can potentially be really dangerous. Definitely get yourself checked.
