Carter turned three in january and weve been working on potty training since before then hes very smart for his age but just isnt getting this potty thing. he was doing good for a while with going and sitting on the potty and wiping but when it comes to actually "going" he still doesnt. Any advice?

I never had my little guy sit to pee in the potty we had him make bubble or sink the Cheerios { bubble we put dish soap in the potty and when the pee is bubbles, Cheerios float so he had to aim and hit them} Then with pooping in the potty we made did the poopy dance plus we had a sticker chart and each time he pooped or peed he got a sticker then he could Pick a prize out of the prize box... He earned enough stickers in one month that he got a big boy bike with training wheels.. Our daughter we did pretty much the same thing... I plan to try this with our youngest when he is ready... but still have some time yet.. lol

Hope this is somewhat helpful... Best wishes and take care
