Hi (:
I'm 15 weeks pregnant & have 2 darling sons Hunter (4yr) & Roman (22mnths).. This is my 4th pregnancy as I miscarried my 1st baby! I have had problems with every pregnancy but this is a 1st.. My midwife called me to say that my blood test results had come back & the tests they did for down syndrome etc were all fine but my hcg levels were 5 times higher than normal! She said it was normal to have high levels to start with but they are ment to drop down after the 1st 12 weeks.. She told me it can corse a slow growth rate meaning a low birth weight baby & also increases the risk of late miscarriage, still birth & other complications! I am booked in to see an obstetrician & baby will be closely monitored.. I am just wondering if anyone else has herd of this or is going through the same thing?? Or had this with a previous pregnancy??
