How do I explain labor and childbirth to Older Siblings?

Does any one have any advice as to how parents should go about explaining the child birth process in an age appropriate manner to older siblings? My children are six and eight and we're expecting our third child in January. We want them to be around for the birth. Not necessarily in the room when it happens but we want them to be two of the first to meet their new sister after she's born. Are there any resources (ie,., videos, books, etc.) for older siblings to watch/ read?

I wouold explain that the labor experience is a little painful, and that the doctor helps you take the baby out. ( i don't know if your are having a csection or vaginal birth) if it is a C section, let them know that you will have a surgery to take the baby out. or if you are having a vaginal delivery tell them that you have to push the baby out. (if they ask out of where tell them, if not then don't mention anything else) let them know that you would like them to be waiting in the hall/waiting room so that they can be two of the first people to see the baby
