How do I get my 13 month old to go to sleep on her own?

I have a 13 month old daughter, who is my first child. And I have started the worst habit for us. I've been rocking her to sleep for every nap and for bedtime, every day since the day she was born. She's over a year old now, and I'm pregnant again. I can't continue to rock her, especially with the new baby coming. How do I get my daughter to go to sleep by herself? Can anyone help me?!
