If you're still breastfeeding try to avoid any diet type like Atkins, your baby needs all nutrients including carbs for breast milk productions. You're in a really tough boat with your condition. However, I have seen in my many times researching that many times the body holds onto baby fat until you finish breastfeeding. The last ten lbs can come off after breastfeeding has stopped. So hang in there. It takes about 7 years for all organs to go back to prepregnancy location. EEk. Have you tried swimming? its a great way to have low impact exercise with keeping your body temp down. Good luck.

The atkins diet is great to loose a few lbs quickly. I lost about 10 lbs in 2 weeks and am still going. The protein bars are really good and the chocolate shakes are yummy as well.

Breastfeeding your baby helps you to lose weight and it also helps your uterus shrink back to its normal size..along with exercise and eating healthy of course..good luck

I know for me the biggest thing after my second child was that i was still eating like i was pregnant. I cut back on portions and it helped lots. I also did Special K and it worked great as well. If you aren't able to exercise though, your muscles will not tighten back like you might desire but weight lose is achievable to an extent without exercise.
Good luck.
