How do I stop a constant screaming child?

I have a 4 almost 5 year old boy and a 3 1/2 year old boy. My problem is the youngest is constantly screaming all the time. When he can't do something, when he gets mad at his brother, when he is just frustrated he screams. He screams at almost everything. I am just wondering if anyone has any ideas how I can get this behavior to stop? I'm afraid I'm going to go deaf by the time they go to high school. I have received the advice of putting hot sauce in his mouth when he screams, but I just feel that would be cruel and make him more upset than he already is in the moment.

Tell him its not nice to scream, explain what to do when he feels a certain way and if that doesn't work just walk away. My almost three year old is a screamer too and I've found just ignoring his bad behavior and rewarding the good seems to work well. If you know he's safe take yourself and your other son into another room to let the wee man scream it out. No reaction to his screaming will let him know that this is not the way to get what he wants. I hope this helps a little, and good luck :) its a hard but rewarding road being a parent.
