How do you bathe your children?

I'm just curious if I'm the only one to use this method of bathing my children: I sit on the edge of the tub and put my bare feet into the water with my children so that my knees give them something to hold onto as I scrub them down and wash their hair. My feet get a nice soak as a bonus!

I tried kneeling besides the tub with my elbows on the edge of the tub... ouch!

So... what about y'all?

Sit on the edge of the tub with feet in the water?
Kneel besides the tub with elbows on edge?

If there is a different method, I'd like to know! With my kids growing, we're running out of room for me to put my feet in the tub.

I put Logan in the bath and he plays and Renae I bath her in the laundry tub. I sometimes just chuck Logan in the shower with one of us and the other gets him out and dresses him.

I sit on the toilet till it's time for them to get out, then I kneel down on the side of the tub and wash them up real quick.

We do 2 different methods: I either sit beside the tub on a low bench (saves my knees) and bathe him, or, if either my husband or I feel like getting a shower at that time, we let him sit on the floor of the shower (he is 21 months old). When I do it this way, I let him play while bathe myself, then I sit down in the shower with him and bathe him. When we are done, I keep the faucet on a drizzle and let him play while I dry off and get dressed in the bathroom. Then I get him out. I guess this will work until he is too old to shower with me :)

I sit on the toilet (facing the tub) and wash them. You have to bend over a little farther (we're in an apartment, so it's pretty close still), but it works for us.
