How do you get rid of cradle cap?

My daughter is 4 months old and has almost 3 inches of hair. how do you get rid of cradle cap? i am very nervous that massaging it with baby oil and a baby brush will make her hair fall out. I really do not want that to happen!

I put baby oil and then used a plastic comb, not a brush, and just did that for a night or two and it went away. My daughter had a lot of hair too and it never fell out : )

my daughter had it and my doctor told me to use a mild dandruff shampoo. i never used it because i used the baby oil and it was already better and i was just asking for the next time.

my daughter had it and my mother told me to put the baby oil in her hair and massage it and then take the baby shampoo and wash her hair out it worked for me....

When you give your baby a bath, instead of using the baby wash cloth, use a regular wash cloth. While washin your baby hair, gently use the wash cloth instead of your hand. Its a lil rougher than the baby wash cloth but it works!
