Of course he is! It is a big bowl, with water, that sucks the pee and poop away! Scary for a little guy. Start out small. Get a cool potty chair. Let him play with it, sit on hit, watch tv on it. You know, get used to it. Then move it to the bathroom. Everytime one of you go to the bathroom (you know he follows), encourage him to sit on the potty chair. Dad is the best at this when you have a boy. Get Dad to show him how neat it is to pee standing up! Your boy will slowly but surely start peeing either in the potty chair or in the toilet. My son skipped right to the toilet-we had to buy a seat for his little butt! He loved peeing like his Dad. Oh yeah-there is that boy peeing outside thing too. Good luck with that! Remember, time and patience. This is a big step!
