How do you wake your kids up - With a tickle or a scream? {:+)

I feel real bad about this one. I use to wake them him up (8 years old) one time and if he didnt jump right out of bed, I would go crazy. It was so bad for both of us. I hated mornings. Then one day a big beautyfull light bulb went one. Actually a Dah !!! sign. I dont like to just jump out of bed. I like to roll around for a while. So I am sure he feels the same way. So now we spend 15 minutes with I will be back in a minute. It works great. Except I hate to wake them. They are soooo quiet when they are sleeping.

P.S. Get this. I have spent the last half hour trying to wake him up. When he finally gets up he asks how much time do I have to play? I say "Not that much." He says "Awe mom, you were suppose to wake me up."

God to love them "sigh" {:+)

Very seldom I wake my kids up. For the most part, they are up and ready to go long before I am. When I do wake them up, it's usually with a back rub and a kiss.

My daughter usually wakes up on her own, but when she doesn't, I do tickle her. =)

They wake up on there own, my husband doesn't get home from work till 3 in the morning so the longer they stay sleeping the better it is for everyone. My son will be starting kindergarten in the fall and we are so thankful he gets to go for the afternoon session. If we do wake him up we do it gently and then run for cover because he is usually cranky and argumentative. My 13 month old doesn't care yet I can pick her up in the middle of the night and she would put a smile on her face.

I rube there backs, and i will gently tickle there backs :) I don't like waking them either because they're so peaceful but i need to get them ready for daycare and i need to get my butt to work. My oldest rarely wakes up in a good mood, so i generaly ignore her for about 15 min and then she snaps out of it, my youngest wakes up with a smile ear to ear and is ready to PARTY!!! WOOOOOHOOOOO lol
