How to get my 9-month old to eat baby food?!

My son ate carrots and bananas okay just fine when he started at 6 & 1/2 months old but stopped shortly after. Now he wants nothing to do with puréed foods or cereals. He's okay with Cheerios and puffs. So now all he eats is Cheerios/puffs and breast milk. Any suggestions?

Like Dove suggests, give him a modified table food diet. Soft cooked veggies, toast bits, meatballs or meat loaf, scrambled eggs. You can give him almost any type of dry cereal, just make sure it is not too hard to "chew", yogurt and cooked pasta as well. Remind yourself that right now he can live off just the breastmilk and take your time with food.

Offer him easy to manage bites of whatever you are eating. I had two that loved purees and one that wouldn't touch them. He ate whatever I was eating (when he would eat... not much under a year) and was breastfed on demand. He's 7 now and perfectly fine.
