My two year old daught is extremley picky. She used to eat everything when she ate baby food. then moving to solids she ate everything but didnt like fruit. She likes nothing sweet at all. Now the only things my daughter will eat is Chicken fingers, french fries, plain white rice, plain pasta (no sauce) and bread. She will not eat any veggies any fruit. only plain starchy foods? I've even tried waiting till she was super hungry to introduce her to something else and she just throws a fit. I have tried hiding veggies in her rice, she finds it and picks it out.

Please does anyone have any advice!!?? She even hate fruit juice..only wants her milk.

My son is very picky too and just last night i was cutting up a little meat for his plate(which Is the hardest thing to get him to eat) and I didn't really pay any attention to the fact that i was cutting them into shapes, which is something he is learning about and pretty familiar with. Well He yells out square....rectangle....and he's all excited, so I went right along with him and tried to encourage his interest. It worked like a charm...he ate all his meat and wanted more. Then when it came to the corn(which I usually dont have a problem getting him to eat; howver this time I had over cooked it and it was mushy!) I simply identified it a "Little yellow squares"...and gulp...down the hatch went the corn !!!!!!!!! Also I would suggest letters and numbers or using cookie cutters for shapes or u can just cut the food into smaller shapes yourself if u want. Around this age is when a lot of kids are learning letters of the alphabet, numbers, colors and try to make meals fun and interesting to them....whatever is most appealing to them. Good Luck....I really think I've hit the jackpot here this time.

that sounds like Kayla my 7 year old. Thankfully for yo gabba gabba, she has been trying different foods. She absolutely loves white rice, pizza, hamburger, spaghetti with a little sauce she loves most fruit anything breakfast ,minus oatmeal. Also u can blend up the fruit of veggies she doesn't like and mix it into foods she does love. I have tried it and the kids didn't notice anything different. If she doesn't eat her dinner than she wont get anything else to eat. when 1030 rolls around and she's starving she will get her dinner to eat. I do not cook the food for them to waste it. I tell the kids to try a little bit, Susie will sing try it and you may like it and that works!

Give the foods in a meal for her, if she dosen't eat it tell her that she'll get nothing else besides that. And if she's hungry later, give her that. This works in some cases
