Recently brought my 25 year old son into home from LA skid road with several conditions. One of them that he would need to find a program or shelter to live in because I live in a Sufis apartment & I don't think him living with me would be a good situation for either of us. He arrived in a bad state of course & I found myself saying he would not go to a homeless shelter. I have been attending Alan-on meeting for about a month & at a mtg today I spoke with someone who suggested the idea of a contract which included a leaving date . Has anyone had a similar experience with a contract?
