Depends on how old the child is. If the child is under a year old, that is not going to happen as they are still developing a lot of different things at this age. After the age of one and closer to 18 months, you can start to introduce sight things to them as well as mention words that start with particular letters. But do not rush it, this happens in its own time and all children are each unique.
