Due to a personal health problem (me n baby are ok) I have to have a c section but my family doesn't know about the health issue nor due they need to but I can't figure out how to tell them about my scheduled csection. They will ask questions so just being vague or not giving them details isn't an option.

There are a lot of reasons why mothers have C-sections and that you are having one is nothing to be embarrassed about (even if why you're having it is an embarrassing reason). It's pretty common these days, happening in about 30% of all deliveries. If the baby is breech, if the head is too big or the mother's pelvis too small, if you have high blood pressure, if you have developed gestational diabetes during your pregnancy, etc., etc., etc.

Just tell your family that you and your doctor decided on you having a C-section and don't give them any other details. It's really none of their business. If they press you and you don't want to tell them the real reason, then make something up.

Yes, not giving details of your personal medical situation is MOST DEFINITELY an option. If your family doesn't understand that, they're invasive and rude.

The only people that need to be in the know about your entire situation are you, your partner, and your physician. Your family can live with the details you choose to release, such as "Baby Stallings arrived on this day, at this time, and all is well with both momma and child".

YOU need as little stress as possible. Good luck with everything, and congrats on upcoming baby Stallings!
