I am 10 weeks pregnant. This is my 2nd baby and I've been so sick! cant eat anything!

I am 10 weeks pregnant and this is my 2nd baby, With my son I think i threw up maybe 3 or 4 times and never had heart burn or cramping. With this baby I've thrown up every day, all day, and night. I cant sleep, cant eat, cant gain any weight and I've been cramping up higher on my belly. I feel like there might be something wrong with my baby. Not to complaine like a big baby or anything but I feel like it's realy interfering with my life. I've been so weak I feel like I could faint sometimes. I feel bad caused I just dont feel good and cant play with my 2 year old son anymore. Went to my doctor and he wanted me to try some other vitamins but thats not helping. Anyone have any other advice?

with my daughter i threw up all 9 months. when i got pregnant again i started looking up morning sickness cures and found this website. I never got morning sickness and ended up loosing the baby at 10 weeks so I never got to see if this stuff works or not but maybe it will help you. also they say that people that have lots of morning sickness are more likely to not miscarry and its a sign of a healthly baby :) good luck http://www.morningsicknessinfo.com/tips-...

You could try ginger biscuits, ginger helps with sickness. I kept plain biscuits beside my bed and ate one as soon as I woke, that helped me. Avoiding strong smells and things like spray deodrant. You get wristbands that help with seasickness, I have a friend who said they really helped. Avoiding caffeine and eating small amounts (even a couple of spoons) of plain food often. Try having lots of pillows so you are partly sitting up in bed.

Same situation with me. My poor 2 y.o. daughter...I have no energy to play much with her right now. But I am promising to make it up to her when all this passes.

My doctor has prescribed Reglan which helped in my 1st pregnancy. This time that's not working and we tried Zofran. That hasn't helped either. Now I'm trying Unisom nightly and vitamin B6 (25 mg) 3 times in the day. Moderate improvement, but I'm also getting to the closer to the 2nd trimester (about 15 wks for me) which is about when I got over the morning sickness last time. I've lost 19 lbs so far and I cannot distinguish hunger from nausea. So frustrating because I don't feel like eating (or throwing up), but sometimes eating is what makes the feeling go away! I have opted now to eat a small something at a 5 scheduled times throughout the day in hopes of beating the hunger/nausea feeling all together.

There are multiple prescription prenatal vitamins that are targeted for those with morning sickness. I tried several but they didn't work for me. You really need to stress to your doctor that you NEED more support from him regarding this issue. Demand that he get more involved in this or look for someone else. We live in the modern day of medicine...make sure you take advantage of what's available or at least try!

I didn't have super, serious morning sickness, but I will mention a little trick that DID help me.... Chocolate mint candies. :) For a while there, eating one every morning was the only way I could handle even thinking about other food to eat.

This sounds like hyperemesis gravidarum (also know as HG) which is kind of like morning sickness on PCP. Talk to your OBGYN about medications that you can take like Zofran and Phenergan.

Eat dry toast...saltine crackers by your bedside eat before you get out of bed. Drink juice, water, gatorade, No to morning sickness tea.

this is my second pregnancy too.i am 12 weeks 5 days and i feel horrible.i throw up everyday all day too and i am experiencing the same type of stomach pain and abdominal pain.i tried to get up and clean my house and fell on the floor i feel so weak everyday its a struggle to just go to the rest room. im scared.i try to eat and drink fluids but i even puke up water.could this cause me to have pre term labor? with my first pregnancy i was really sick too even had to be hospitalized and i miscarried that pregnancy at 20 weeks im afraid its gonna happen again and my boyfriend wont help me he thinks im over exaggerating.

I had really bad morning sickness through week 13, and occasional morning sickness until week 17. I found certain foods, like apples, toast, simple cheeses, and tomatoes worked for me, but I could never eat ice cream. Also, for some people, myself included, mint helps. I found water infused with mint was good, because plain waterade me sick. Good luck!

I was like that with my first born.. I even had to be put on an IV line for 3 months.. What saved me and this pregnancy was banana splits. I ate it almost everyday for six weeks it nas milk, fruit (bananas, strawberries, kiwi, and pineapple. Eventually, at 7th month of pregnancy, I could pretty much eat anything. Fast forward 18 years... My son is a strapping 6'4", 250 pounder who just graduated from High school and is off to college. It worked out well in the final analysis.

I had morning sickness for both of my 2 sons and it was unbearable. Im sorry that u are going thru this... My remedy is to take a lemon and a lime and squeeze the juice out into a cup (it has to be fresh) and a small pinch of salt and drink it down in 1 shot. It worked for me and I hope it will work for you. Plus I drank not gingerale but Coke-cola because it has alot of acid and make me feel like burping instead of throwing up.... Hope this helps..

I have had 4 kids and 9 months of morning sickness with all 4 kids. The best thing you can do is avoid strong smells, eat crackers before you get out of bed and sit up slowly. I ate several times a day and very small amout at a time. I also could only eat very plain foods, (by the time I delivered, I was dying to have mexican and chinese) but it seemed to help.

They say every pregnancy is different, but you are close to the time when most women start feeling better! I was SO waiting for that 13 week mark, but I didn't feel better until 14 weeks. After that I felt great, and I think that is really common. Only three more weeks! You can do it! :)

Try lemon. Smelling a lemon and eating sour things was what helped me a little.

It must be so hard to do it with a toddler. Do you have family that would take him for a few hours a day so you can rest?
