I agree with Amy. Check with your doc. to make sure, but as she said before pregnancy activities are usually fine. I do daycare for ages 0-3 yrs.....those ages are physically demanding job on your body. I did not change any of my activities due to my pregnancy and worked all the way up until I delivered. I was also training for a walking marathon when I found out I was pregnant. I actually found out that walking is REALLY good for you while pregnant. It helps decrease morning sickness and helps increase your energy. So at 2 months pregnant I did my marathon I had been training for....finished in 9 hours. For the heat just make sure you are drinking enough fluids.

Talk to your doctor about your concerns but as a general rule if you did it before you were pregnant (activities) you can usually continue. I work retail, on my feet 9+ hours a day, climbing ladders, lifting 30 lb boxes, very active I had a very easy pregnancy and a very quick labor.
