I would say alot of people are getting out of trends and starting to go back to classic names, I like a little of both

Annabella Elizabeth

Bethany Rayne

Catherine very classic

I'm having a hard time picking girl names too, so this post has been helpful to read. Some names I really like are Simone, Katherine, Ashlynn, Eve, Ava, Julia and Rebekah

I am in Australia but if I lived any where else I woudl consider Matilda as in waltzing matilda. I have friends is the States who named thier daughter Grace Matilda. I called my daughter Olivia Grace. Always thought the things you need to consider are. Will it sould just as good if she is a judge or a ditch digger when she grows up (boy named Sue and all that) and what are all of the abreviations (can I live with them) and lastly do her initials spell or stand from something I do not like.

Wow what a lot of responses for you to wade through!! Good question to ask. My name is Joelle (like Noelle with a J) its unusual and I've grown to like it as I've got older. My sister is Lydia. I like that name too! All the best!

i worked in a daycare and seen so many different girls names, but the girls name that stuck out most to me was Maelynn...very pretty. i also like the name Arianna ari for short

I love the name Grace. I love the meaning too but it is really popular so we named our daughter Charis (Greek Spelling) meaning Grace. So we have Charis Elanor and Rowan Ariana. Both girls. We don't know the sex of baby #3 due in October 2009 but the names on our girl list are Zoe Alathea and Lyra Elyce.

My girls names are Bethany Danielle and Hannah Elizabeth. We got their names from the bible. Just reading scripture helped us pick the names for the girls, plus Hannah was my great-grandmothers name, so it was for her too. Maybe you could pick a name of someone in the family from years ago too, (if you haven't already) or think of friends you grew up with, or women you admire? Hope this helps! Please post what name you decide on, I would love to see what you choose! Good luck and God bless!
