I'm 9 and a half weeks, this has been confirmed by blood work and seen by ultrasounds, but my urin samples at the lab are still negative. .

I knew i was pregnant at 3.5weeks two at home test we positive so i booked an appointment with my doc for a first prenatal. The urin sample the lab took came back negative, but i had really bad pains and went in to emerg and had an ultrasound and it showed that i was 5weeks and 6days. My doctor told me that he couldnt do anything for me untill i got an abortion because he thinks i have a septum and it need to be sergically removed or i wouldnt carry full term. . .this made me very upset so i went to a different clinic for a second opinion, i have now switched to a different doctor and have had blood work done and its positive i'm now 9.5weeks and my urin samples are still negative, my doctor doesnt seam concerned by this only that the fetal heart rate is 105 and should at least be 130, he has booked me for an ultrasound tomorrow afternoon to see whats going on. I'm just worried that i dont have enough HGH in my system. . .my embryo is also almost 2times the size that it should be, my doctor also doesnt seam concerned with this. Have any moms out there had any problems with HGH not showing up in urin samples. . .or any mom that have uterian septums or endometriosis? If anyone has any feedback i would very much enjoy to ready it and maybe put my worry down a little!!

Yeah!! Great news...now you have time to read, prepare and enjoy. May I suggest the books, "What To Expect When You Are Expecting" and "What To Expect Pregnancy Journal & Organizer". They were a great assets for me. Take care. :0)

Just thought i would give everyone an update. I had my ultrasound yesterday at a different hospital than i have usualy been going to, I DONT have a septum, my uterus is a little smaller than it should be but i shouldnt come across any problems untill i'm 8months. The Fetal heart rate is at 166 they said its normal. I'm 11weeks today not 9weeks and 5days like i was told before. I also got more blood work and urin samples done, my blood is still positive and everything else is good. My urin is still negative. The ultrasound tec said that everything is normal and good with the baby nothing to worry about! Thank you all for your suport and coments!

My daughter showed up on blood work and ultrasound at 5 weeks, but not on a home pregnancy test until 12 weeks. Be extra careful with your precious wee cargo. Make sure you are eating right, getting plenty of sleep and taking folic acid. If you're still not happy with your doctor, seek another opinion. Best of luck.

I dont have any info. about the septum, but did have endometriosis, several fibroid tumors, sists, very low amniotic fluid, preterm labor (6months) & other fertility issues. My angel is now 2, it took me almost 9 years to conceive & when we did, it was a roller coaster ride from the start- I didnt have any of these issues with my first child. I had to see my reg. OB every other day & to St. Louis to the High Risk Pregnancy Center where a few times & was on bed rest. Try not to stress- that isnt good. The progress dr.s & science has made is amazing! Blood work is a better test, and the fact that your dr. isnt too concerned is also encouraging. I just want to give you some encouragment, to keep hold of your faith & hope! There were several times I was told that if such & such didnt change they were gonna fly me to St. Louis to perform emergency C-section at the PRegnancy Center, but I refused to believe that & I called my local church to pray with me & God answered my prayers- I didnt deliver her till I was 38 1/2 weeks. Prayin for ya!!

I'm just trying to do everything that i can do, and everything right. I went down to only working part time if that because i started spotting. . .and it comes and goes but the gestational sack was still sitting high in the uterus at my last ultrasound so that a good sign. thanks to everyone who posted back to me and i will keep this post up dated!

As long as you are willing to hope there is some. I have heard about the most amazing things about children and their births and the challenges they have overcome. My grandfather was so tiny he was kept in a shoe box and by a wood stove for warmth. I think he was maybe a pound or two. There is always room for hope.

so i should have been more clear i did talk to my doctor about the septum and he said i might be able to carry past 5months and i might not be able to carry past five months its uncertain. everyones body is different so my septum might give when the baby pushes on it(when it out grows the space it has) or it might not bend they way the hope it will and i could go in to labour starting anywhere after my 4months. I've looked at some sights but i cant find anything on a full septum mine runs right from the top and is also conected to the bottom of my uterus. . .so i was just wondering fi any one had positive news about this condition. I understant that ever tho it does or doesnt work out for someone else my situation could go the other way i was just looking for hope.

I know that some women never get a positive result on a test! Though herbs can be a great help I would like to add a precautionary tip to consult with your doctor/midwife about anything you are taking over the counter. Some herbs affect you differently during different stages of pregnancy.

I found out i was pregnant with my son at 3.5 weeks. i went to the doctor at 4 weeks exactly, and i just barely had a positive. The reason this happens is that you actually have too MUCH Hcg not too little. There is a range that the test on your urine tests for, if you are OVER that limit, it comes up negative. A blood test is BETTER than a urine test, because it is quantitative (tells you how much Hcg, not just that it exists like the urine one). So, b/c you had a positive blood test, and the doctor doesn't seem worried about that number/outcome, i think you should be fine. I don't have any information about the septum, ask your doctor. I have heard of women being able to have children with it, but i know it carries complications. Embryo's grow at different rates, they are human just like you and me, and everyone is different, and grows differently, as long as your doctor isn't concerned, you are fine and so is your baby.

My friend has the same thing if you go to a health store and ask for the herb
'false unicorn' and take it as directed that will help. It's especially important to take it in
the first 3 months but you can use it throughout your entire pregnancy!

Since you are still early, it really depends upon the pregnancy test kits that they use in the labs and If you drink alot of fluids it will dilute the urine out, therefore could be making the test a false negative. Make sure that you doctor keeps an eye on your HCG levels via the blood work....that is the most accurate way of detecting the hormone!!! Good Luck with your pregnancy=)

My friend had negative urine tests with her second child. The ultrasound she had showed she was pregnant and so did the blood tests. She also has endometriosis. If you are worried, tell your doctor. If he/she responds to your concerns, that is a good sign. Make sure the heart rate isn't your own. It would be kind of high for you, but if you're nervous or scared, it's a possibility. Just make sure you tell your doctor everything that you feel. Physically and emotionally. It can affect things. Remember that tests aren't perfect, and you are the only one who truly knows your own body.

http://yourtotalhealth.ivillage.com/uter... This is a link to an article on uterine septum. I hope it will give you some perspective. I think you need more insight in the matter to calm you worries. Hopefully your new ultrasound will help and I would find out where the placenta has attached because according to the article that is important. Take care and hope to hear how things went. 8>)
