I'm pregnant with my second child, 15 weeks, and ive already gained 15 pounds. I am struggling to be okay with gaining weight in pregnancy. how can i look at myself with enough love to know that gaining weight in pregnancy isnt always a bad thing. i just hate looking bigger.

I feel your pain! I found it much harder the 2nd time round accepting my weight gain. I've gain 25 kgs already (so that's around 50 pounds I think?) and still have 5 weeks to go. I think I've just let go of my dislike of my body in the last few weeks, coz my focus is now on just getting this baby out of there!!! But yeah, it is hard to look at yourself in the mirror & see the "you" that you know disappearing, or rather, expanding so rapidly to the point that you don't recognize yourself anymore! lol. I put a lot of pressure on myself to lose the weight after I had my first bub. This time I'm gonna go easy on myself, coz it will come off eventually, so no point stressing about it. Embrace my curves and just enjoy my baby. I'll worry about fitting into skinny leg jeans in another couple of years;). Chin up, we did it before, we can do it again:). xo

Just remember there is a little person in there, that's why you are gaining weight. You are creating a healthy little baby.

You're bigger for a reason, there's a baby in there, thats completely different to being overweight.

With second and subsequent pregnancies you do get bigger quicker because your body has accommodated a pregnancy before.

You need to remember there's a Human Being inside you, your not 'gaining weight' your growing a life!
