There's a lot of things to deal with in my life right now...My son was diagnosed with autism and borderline intelligence. I feel my brain needs some help to deal with that. I would like something that doesn't make me gain weight.

Drugs are not a coping mechanism unless you have a real psychological problem. I'm sorry about the diagnosis of your son. It's not the end of the world for him or you. Exercise is actually a great anti-depressant, and won't cause weight gain (unless you gain muscle, which weighs more than fat). Exercise is great for stress relief, as the physical activity can release frustration and anxiety. It might also allow your brain to put things on the "back burner" for a while, and activate your subconscious to help you work issues out in your head.

Start with some counseling and look for support groups for your son's conditions. Asking for someone on the internet to recommend a 'good' antidepressant is not a good idea. Drugs should not be used as a coping mechanism, only as a last resort if counseling and therapy are not being effective.
