even if it is the norm in some places... we know better now. it's really not worth it in my opinion and his sex life will be affected by circumcising him. he comes into the world with foreskin and it just makes sense to leave it.
even for religious reasons, we have running water and soap... it's no longer necessary. it's actually scary how many mom's circumcise their little guy. all i'm saying is give it some thought and i think you'll come to the conclusion that it's better off left alone. i don't wanna bash mom's that opt for circumcision... i just think it's better we have a discussion about it and take some time to think about it. :)

when you cut off the foreskin, you cut off thousands of nerve endings so when the head is exposed it becomes desensitised.
