Why do you want them to be like that?
What happens when you send them to school? The poor teacher will have to deal with a distraught child for the first few weeks at least. It's not healthy for children to be that attached to their parents.
Have you ever thought about if you and your husband want to go out for a romantic evening/dinner? 18 years is a long time to get any adult time.
Just some things to think about.

Over possessive, Over protective, and only inviting problems down the road.

Your children will naturally want to be with their parents more than others as they are growing up, but to isolate them and not allow them to ever have contact with others, or never form bond with others is emotional abuse.

Why in the world would you want that? How selfish of you. Your babies need social interaction just as much as you do......and guess what......you will never get any if you isolate your children and force them to be so attached to you that they actually fear being without you. Sounds a bit emotionally abusive huh? You will do what you want as a mother, but creating issues that don't need to be their for your children? No. Not cool.
