OP, I actually just made it back into my pre-baby jeans this week. DS is 18 months old. I bounced back more quickly with my older son. It depends on your metabolism, activity levels, nutrition--a lot, really. Don't get frustrated if you can help it. Most likely it is just taking some time and you will get it back, or as close to it as you can (for instance, younger son was 10 lbs 8.9oz, that does things to your hips that will never let them be the same again!).

My daughter just turned two and I'm now actively trying to lose the weight, I'm down 16 and have another 19 to go. Unfortunately I never bounced back with either of my kids I had to be actively dieting and excercising which isn't normal for me.

Not necceasarily. I was 118 when I got pregnant and gained 80. Not to upset you but it took me THREE years to get down to my normal weight. Since you are younger you should bounce back sooner.
