Check with a local art and craft store like Hobby Lobby or Michaels. They offer small group activities that you could turn into a party. Or, take your daughter and go look around for an activity that you could do at home. Soap or candle making, jewelry making, or maybe candy making?

Boy or Girl? What are his/her interests? Big budget? Big guest list? What does the child want to do? There are hundreds of things you could do. You might get some great ideas if you give some information.
