Infant and toddler

What do you do when you have an infant who needs multiple naps throughout the day and a 3 year old who just wants to go to all the parks and run and play outside. I'm alone a lot of the time because my husband works weird schedules so my poor 3 year old is stuck with me telling him to either play in our small backyard alone or to stay in the house and find something to do...
maybe its just me but i really don't want to go to a park and try to stay awake sitting on a bench pretending I'm interested in watching my child run in circle while i try to keep my infant calm or asleep. just me?

When my children were that age. I would take them to the park the older one would play and run around and the younger one would nap in the stroller

There is no easy answer here...they both need your attention...having multiple children myself I can attest there is no easy balance. The best I can say is at least give a day or two to the three year old, which makes the other days a little more bearable for them.

Any chance you can hire a sitter to help on some days?

Best Wishes
